During my recent stay at the Thorverton Arms, nestled in the picturesque village of Thorverton, I was delighted by the warm hospitality offered by hosts Steve and Mandy. The inn's charming atmosphere was accentuated by a lovely garden, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. Our comfortable twin room, complete with tea and coffee-making facilities, provided a refreshing retreat following our tours around nearby historical sites. The award-winning restaurant lived up to its reputation, serving generous portions of fresh, delectable food, and the delightful Lorraine added a personal touch with her friendly demeanor. As a marine biologist passionate about sustainable practices, it was heartening to find a spot that supports local produce, making our culinary experiences even more memorable. I highly recommend this charming inn, not just for its amenities, but for its ability to create lasting memories amidst the beauty of Devon.
